Fish Where the Wild Things Are

Planning & Preparation
When planning your adventure with us, please arrive in Anchorage at least one day before your scheduled trip. The journey to our remote lodges and camps typically involves private charter flights, offering a scenic 2-hour and 20-minute flight over Alaska’s stunning wilderness.
The 2024 season travel details include a flight to Nelson Lagoon with Alaska Air Transit (AAT). We ask that all clients be ready at the Alaska Air Transit office by 9:00 AM for a 10:00 AM departure. The office is located at 2150 E. 5th Ave, Anchorage, AK, and can be reached at 907-276-5422 for any inquiries. While we do our best to keep the return schedule on track, unpredictable Alaskan weather can cause delays. For this reason, we recommend booking your onward flight from Anchorage after 9:00 PM or, better yet, the following day to avoid any stress.
As you prepare for your trip, please limit your luggage to around 50 pounds for easy transport on the charter flight. This weight limit ensures a smooth and safe journey for everyone. Additionally, we advise bringing enough cash to cover your gratuity for the camp staff, with a suggested 15% of your camp cost. Unfortunately, credit cards cannot be accepted at the camp, so it’s best to plan ahead for tips and any incidental expenses. With these logistics in mind, you’ll be ready to enjoy an unforgettable Alaskan fishing experience.
